Our faculty members are more than professors-they are also experts and leaders in their industry. Many of our Worldwide professors have viable experience in their field and continue to work in the industry - whether engineering, aerospace, aviation, military, corporate business or other areas - through the duration of their teaching careers.
From a business standpoint, they bring the very best of today's global environment to the classroom, going as far as implementing industry terminology, documentation and best practices into class projects so students emerge from programs with real-world experience.
We have a global network of adjunct faculty, all of whom have industry experience. Our diverse faculty have backgrounds in aviation, science, math, fire science, business and public administration backgrounds. They include an emergency manager, U.S. Air Force, Army and Marine members who served as Wing, Squadron and Base Commanders, aircrew members, meteorologists and university deans.
College faculty bring their professional experience into the classroom by brainstorming ideas to engage students, encouraging collaboration and taking part in world-class research. They are able to create curriculum that responds to demands of employers and teach useful concepts that students can apply in their work environments.
