What is COMPASS?

The mission of the Center of Mentorship Programs and Student Success (COMPASS) is to guide students in developing a personalized strategy that maximizes the effectiveness of their overall educational experience and leads to increased future opportunities.

How does COMPASS work?

Students connect with one or more Mentors (Faculty, Peer, or Alumni), typically through virtual meetings at pre-scheduled times, discussing individual goals and challenges related to their academic progress and future marketability.  The COMPASS mentoring philosophy is based on five core principles (belief, effort, progression, accountability, and confidence) designed to fully unlock every student’s unique potential.

How do I participate?

If you are interesting in becoming either a COMPASS Mentor or Mentee, please send an email to COMPASS@erau.edu.
