Students complete all coursework during an assigned time frame using their computer. There are generally no set class meeting times.
EagleVision Home
Students do all work on their computer, with live lectures via EagleVision, Embry-Riddle's web-conferencing technology.
EagleVision Home/Blended
Students participate in live lectures on their computer via EagleVision, Embry-Riddle's web conferencing technology. This is blended with our Online instructional method, where students are assigned additional work to be done on their computer during a set time frame.
In Person
Lectures take place live with an instructor present in the classroom at one of our 130-plus campuses around the globe.
Blended Learning
Lectures take place live with an instructor in a classroom at one of our 130-plus campuses around the globe. This is blended with our Online instructional method, where students are assigned additional work to be done on their computer during a set time frame.
EagleVision Classroom
Lectures take place live in a classroom with the instructor participating using virtual classroom technology.
EagleVision Classroom/Blended
Lectures take place live in a classroom with the instructor participating using virtual classroom technology. This is blended with our Online instructional method, where students are assigned additional work to be done on their computer during a set time frame.
Asynchronous Learning
This instructional method allows for maximum flexibility in online-based learning, as courses do not have set times when instructors and students are required to be "virtually present".*
Students log in at their convenience to complete weekly coursework and participate in discussions with their peers and instructor. This freedom allows participants to fit education more easily into their schedule.
* Instructors in some courses will occasionally schedule times for students to "virtually present" for discussions.
