New recruit, recently deployed, on the front line, or veteran — whatever your status or rank, wherever you are located, Embry-Riddle Worldwide has provided highly regarded educational opportunities to military personnel since 1970. What began as a service to active-duty military personnel in Fort Rucker, Alabama, has grown into a service offered at military bases around the globe.

Our flexible course delivery methods and our advanced technology will give you the opportunity to take courses in a classroom, online, via real-time Web Video conferencing from home or wherever you are, or through a blend of modes. This enables service members on the front line to continue learning through the duration of their service. And even if you find yourself deployed or transferring to another Embry-Riddle campus for any reason, we work closely with you to make the transfer process as smooth as possible.

Being accustomed to serving military students, we do everything in our power to make the transfer credit process as easy as possible for you. Prior academic work and courses taken at outside institutions by veteran students are evaluated as appropriate and reported to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has partnered with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).  CCAF offers enlisted Air Force members nontraditional alternatives to complete CCAF degree requirements.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide currently has five (5) degrees that are part of the Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) Category I and one (1) degree part of AU-ABC, Category III.  The Program Plan File (PPF) is attached for each of these degrees.

Category I:  CCAF AAS graduates will complete no more than 60 semester hours to complete these degrees.  

  • Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (BSLSCM)
  • Bachelor of Science in Technical Management (BSTM)
  • Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS)
  • Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services (BSES)
  • Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics (BSA) 

Category III:  Bachelor of Science in Unmanned Systems Applications – CCAF AAS graduates will complete more than 60 semester hours to complete this degree.  

1. Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (BSLSCM) – Category I

The PPF is a general guideline and the final determination of specific credit awarded rests with the Office of the Registrar. 

The BSLSM degree currently links to 18 CCAF AAS degrees, which are required to pursue the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide degree as part of AU-ABC.

2. Bachelor of Science in Technical Management (BSTM) – Category I

The PPF is a general guideline and the final determination of specific credit awarded rests with the Office of the Registrar.

Note:  BSTM – Engineering Sciences Major and AIT and MSSA Specializations are not approved for the AU-ABC program.  

The BSTM degree currently links to 41 CCAF AAS degrees, which are required to pursue the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide degree as part of AU-ABC.

3. Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services (BSES) – Category I

The BSES degree links to two CCAF AAS degrees, Fire Science and Emergency Services, which are required to pursue the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide degree as part of AU-ABC.

4. Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS) – Category I

The PPF is a general guideline and the final determination of specific credit awarded rests with the Office of the Registrar. 

The BSIS degree links to ALL CCAF AAS degrees, which are required to pursue the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide degrees as part of AU-ABC. 

5. Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics (BSA) – Category I

The PPF is a general guideline and the final determination of specific credit awarded rests with the Office of the Registrar. 

The Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics (BSA) currently links to 15 CCAF AAS which are required to pursue the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide degree as part of AU-ABC.

6. Bachelor of Science in Unmanned Systems Applications (BSUSA) – Category III

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has partnered with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to provide online general education courses for Air Force personnel who want to complete the CCAF Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree requirements through the General Education Mobile (GEM) Program.  As a GEM partner, we offer online courses to meet all five general education disciplines required in a nine week format to complete CCAF’s 15 semester hours of general education — Oral Communication, Written Communication, Mathematics, Social Science, and Humanities.
