Make the Most of Your Transfer

Embry-Riddle wants to make your transfer process as easy as possible. We'll help you determine how much credit you can transfer to Embry-Riddle Worldwide from:

  • Coursework at other accredited, degree-granting institutions.
  • Prior military experience and training.
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pilot certificates, flight ratings and Airframe/Powerplant licenses.
  • National exams such as AP, IB, CLEP and DANTES.

First, Estimate Your Transfer Credit

Use our Transfer Portal to see how your transfer credit applies to different majors at Embry-Riddle.

  • For best results, create a Transfer Portal profile so you can request a review of courses not currently found in our system and save your work.
  • After you learn how your credits can transfer to the undergraduate degree program you’re interested in, review the checklist and campus resources as a guide to complete important tasks and stay on track.
  • The Transfer Portal is intended for new undergraduate students. Current Embry-Riddle students who wish to transfer between campuses should work with their Academic Advisor to complete an Intra-University Transfer form. Current students who wish to take courses at another institution should work with their Academic Advisor to complete the Authorization to Enroll at Another Institution form/Off-Campus Petition form in ERNIE.

Next, Get an Official Transfer Assessment

With so many students from such diverse backgrounds, it is important that we evaluate each student's unique situation. Apply now so that we can fully assess where you stand.

Upon admission, our team of admissions evaluators will review all prior credit. They will issue an official advising report reflecting all credit awarded and any requirements remaining to complete your degree with ERAU. Visit our Academic Catalog to learn more about our transfer credit policies.
