Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Partners with SpaceTEC
Educators Provide a National Aerospace Articulation Program

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide, headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, and SpaceTEC, the National Science Foundation Center for Aerospace Technical Education at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station/Kennedy Space Center, have entered into a partnering agreement for articulation of students from the SpaceTEC consortium of community and technical colleges and universities who wish to enter Embry-Riddle’s world-renowned aerospace programs.
For participating students who successfully pass the SpaceTEC Core and/or Concentration Certification Examinations and currently hold the SpaceTEC Certified Aerospace Technician credentials recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education (ACE), or are enrolled in, or have completed a program from one of the current SpaceTEC participating Partner Colleges, Embry-Riddle will consider and review all transfer work toward the A.S. and/or A.A.S. degrees for all SpaceTEC partner colleges’ coursework completed with a grade of “C” or higher based on the guidelines as set forth in the United States Council for Higher Education Accreditation. These include Associate in Science and/or Associate in Applied Science degrees in Aerospace Technology; Aerospace Manufacturing and Materials Sciences.
The colleges currently active in the SpaceTEC consortium represent a cross section of leading national institutions, including Brevard Community College (Florida), Calhoun Community College (Alabama), Community College of the Air Force (Alabama), Doña Ana Community College (New Mexico), Edmonds Community College (Washington), Thomas Nelson Community College (Virginia), and Tulsa Technology Center (Oklahoma). The agreement became effective on Jan. 21, 2012.
