Education: Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with minors in History and Economics, John Cabot University and the University of Wales (1st class Honors degree); Master of Science in Project Management with distinction, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide

Hobbies/Interests: Cooking – Recreating Sicilian cuisine in Florida; traveling; thrift shopping for hidden treasures; Cross-stitch/needlepoint; Reading classic novels

Online Campus Student Spotlight

During his time in the Coast Guard, Ken Kring accrued more than 100 flight hours as an air crewman on the H60 Jayhawk. He also received Air Station Clearwater's Eagle Eye Award for identifying a structural failure in one of their aircraft, as well as several recognitions for achievement, good conduct and more. Looking forward, Kring plans to work within the aerospace industry and hopes to solve future challenges associated with manned spaceflight.
