Don't let costs deter you

Going back to school is an investment, both time wise and financially. At Embry-Riddle Worldwide, we understand the importance of funding your education. These helpful guidelines can assist you in creating budget and a planning to fund your education.

How can I pay for college?

About Estimated Costs

The estimated costs below are only an estimate and may not reflect all costs and expenses incurred while attending your respective campus. All amounts shown here or in other university publications or webpages represent tuition and fees as currently approved. However, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University reserves the right to increase or modify tuition and fees without prior notice, upon approval by the Board or as otherwise consistent with Board policy and to make such modifications applicable to students enrolled at Embry-Riddle at that time as well as to incoming students.

The estimated Cost of Attendance (also known as a student budget) is a guide to help students anticipate the price of attending Embry-Riddle Worldwide for one academic year and is based on full-time enrollment. The estimated Cost of Attendance (COA) expenses include tuition, fees, housing (i.e., housing/rent/housing costs), food, books, course materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and miscellaneous/personal expenses while attending school. Undergraduate and graduate costs are based off of a full-time, four-term enrollment period. Each student's cost of attendance is made up of both direct and indirect costs, and is also used to determine financial aid eligibility. Additional fees may apply to some students as each student’s situation is different.

In addition, all tuition amounts and fees are subject to change at any time for correction of errors. Finally, please note that fee amounts billed for any period may be adjusted at a future date.

  • Direct costs are billed through the university and include tuition and fees.
  • Indirect costs are not billed through the university; these out-of-pocket expenses are living expenses (i.e., housing/rent/housing costs and food), books, supplies, course materials, equipment, transportation and miscellaneous/personal expenses. (For students living in housing on a military base or for which they receive a basic allowance under section 403(b) of title 37, United States Code, a reasonable allowance for living expenses will be determined but cannot include housing costs).

Calculate your estimated cost of attendance: A net price calculator is available to help you estimate the cost of attendance as well as the aid you may receive.

The figures below reflect estimated budgets for the current academic year attending full-time. While your actual costs will depend on a number of factors — including your program of study, the number of courses/credit hours you take and lifestyle choices — these should assist you in planning your own budget. In addition, all tuition amounts and fees are subject to change at any time for correction of errors. Please note that fee amounts billed for any period may be adjusted at a future date.
