The Department of Social Science and Economics includes three disciplines of study: Sociology and Psychology; History and Government; and Economics.
Sociology and Psychology courses discuss community and social organization and also apply psychological principles to Worldwide degree fields. The History and Government discipline looks to past and present global issues to create an awareness of the political environment students will be entering upon graduation. Economics studies the allocation of scarce resources; the way that individuals, groups, governments, and businesses make choices; and the consequences of those choices for people, nations, and society.
