What Students Say
"I would like to take a moment and reflect on my experiences at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). I started taking classes at a local junior college some time ago. Although the school is a well-known and good school, I found that it really wasn’t working for me. The classes were 16 weeks long and they truly did not understand the difficulties of working full time, being a single parent, and trying to go to school at the same time.
Embry-Riddle offers the 9-week courses at Space Coast Campus which helps me out in many ways: for one, I can get in 5 sessions per year vs. 3 which will help me graduate much sooner; two, the longer classes each night is beneficial in order to cover all the pertinent material in the 9 week time frame and since I already have to find somebody to watch my son, 3 hours or 5 hours each night really doesn’t matter; third, I travel out of the state on work related assignments which ERAU understands and works with. The feeling that I have at Embry-Riddle Space Coast is that the faculty and staff truly understand the nontraditional student. Many of my classmates are holding down full-time jobs and going to school; many while raising a family and managing a household. ERAU is very understanding of such circumstances and works closely with each individual to find an amicable solution".

"I had originally thought the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s (ERAU), Worldwide Campus (formerly Extended Campus) was strictly for military personnel and contractors. It has been such a privilege to have found the Worldwide, Space Coast campus and successfully completed my first term as a nontraditional student. ERAU’s introductory description 'infinite possibilities' is certainly made manifest between the Daytona Beach Campus experience and the Space Coast campus experience. The Space Coast campus experience has been richer for me, as a non-traditional student.
The curriculum and classroom environment at the Space Coast campus affords students an environment where their unique academic needs are met. The staff provide efficient and timely service, assisting students with preliminary paperwork, technical processes, and course advisement. The faculty mentor and empower students in a real-world, scholarly fashion, in and out of the classroom. The diverse student body stimulates exciting classroom discussions and teamwork opportunities.
All in all, the Space Coast campus provides prospective students and current students with “infinite possibilities” concerning completion of their formal education. I am very thankful for having found the perfect environment in which to complete my masters degree".
